Amanda is a digital communications and programmes professional with over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of digital strategy, systems, and programme delivery. She began working in digital in 2009 and has since run her own company, supporting organisations and professionals with the design, management, and optimisation of their digital operations.
Her expertise includes digital presence management, content and workflow systems, website oversight, search engine optimisation, social media strategy, and digital marketing. She combines strategic oversight with practical implementation, developing streamlined, scalable digital setups that support organisational effectiveness and day-to-day delivery.
Amanda has been with the Public Affairs Council since October 2021 and currently serves as Programs and Member Relations Officer for the International Practice. In this role, she manages international programmes and training initiatives, supports member engagement, and oversees the International Practice’s digital tools and internal systems. Her focus is on ensuring platforms, workflows, and processes operate reliably and are used effectively to support programme delivery and the member experience.
She is also a member of the Council’s AI Task Force, contributing to initiatives on the responsible and practical use of artificial intelligence in public affairs. Her current professional focus is on applying AI and automation to communications and organisational operations in ethical, efficient, and scalable ways.
Originally from South Africa, Amanda has lived in Portugal for over 15 years. She works fluently in English and Afrikaans and has a strong knowledge of Portuguese.
