Deanna Wisniewski

Deanna Wisniewski serves as Senior Manager, Communications for the Public Affairs Council. In this role, she helps advance the Council’s integrated communications strategy, enhance member engagement across digital and social channels and bolster media relations and executive communications, supporting the Council’s reputation as the world’s foremost authority on public affairs.

Before joining the Council, Deanna spent more than seven years at the American Waterways Operators, where she served as senior manager of public affairs and communications. In that role, she led multi-platform communications strategies, supporting media relations and rapid-response efforts and leading the organization’s social media strategy and presence. Earlier in her career, Deanna worked at the American Bar Association as a legislative associate and editor.

Deanna received her Master of Public Policy degree from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Boston University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She also holds a Social Media Marketing Certificate from the Digital Marketing Institute.

A Connecticut native and true New Englander at heart, Deanna loves reading, trying out new coffee shops and spending time with family.
