Deanna Wisniewski

Deanna Wisniewski serves as Senior Manager, Communications for the Public Affairs Council. In this role, she helps advance the Council’s integrated communications strategy, supporting its reputation as the world’s foremost authority on public affairs.

Before joining the Council, Deanna spent more than seven years at the American Waterways Operators, where she served as senior manager of public affairs and communications. In that role, she was a trusted advisor to senior leadership, leading multi-platform communications strategies, supporting media relations and rapid-response efforts, leading the organization’s social media strategy and presence, and managing major projects including enterprise website redesigns. Earlier in her career, Deanna worked at the American Bar Association as a legislative associate and editor, producing daily publications covering federal legislative and regulatory activity and managing social media content.

Deanna received her Master of Public Policy degree from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Boston University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She also holds a Social Media Marketing Certificate from the Digital Marketing Institute.
