Josh Preputnik is the senior manager of accounting and administration for the Public Affairs Council. In his role, Josh works directly with Council staff on daily financial activity, monthly reporting, budget and audit activity.
Josh joined the Public Affairs Council in July 2017 after previously working for The Carlyle Group as a staff accountant. Before that, he worked for the City of Virginia Beach and the City of Norfolk in various departments, including Procurement and Human Services. Josh graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and earned his MBA from the College of William & Mary in 2021.
Originally from Virginia Beach, Josh enjoys traveling, hiking on nature trails, improving his photography skills and sampling food from around the world.
