Monica Day

Monica Day is the senior manager, political affairs practice, for the Public Affairs Council. In this role she manages programs, resources and member services related to the Council’s political affairs practice, including the National PAC Conference.

Prior to joining the Council, Monica spent more than 15 years with the American Hospital Association (AHA), where she supported political affairs and grassroots advocacy initiatives. Most recently, she served as political affairs and grassroots specialist, coordinating national grassroots campaigns such as the “We Care, We Vote” initiative and developing member education programs that helped hospital leaders communicate policy priorities to Congress.

She also supported AHAPAC operations, including fundraising outreach, donor compliance and member engagement programs, and helped manage recognition initiatives and events that strengthened stakeholder participation.

A Maryland native, she received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from South Carolina State University and a master’s degree in strategic communication from American University.
