Time and opportunities are limited when you lobby — so making a rapid and positive impact is essential to your success. Join this workshop to learn the skills, secrets and techniques to develop powerful messages and present your arguments persuasively.
Featured Topic & Speakers
2020 sees a shift in the political interlocutors in Brussels, and your organization will undoubtedly be planning to re-establish and strengthen your political network at the European level.
Whether you need to persuade an MEP or a ministerial team, make a 30 second pitch to decision-makers or present your position with a compelling narrative — you only get one chance of making a strong initial impression, so having a positive first impact is essential to your success.
This workshop will equip you with the essential tools to enhance your lobbying skills — hard and soft — so you can perform confidently and effectively in those high stakes moments.
We will focus on:
- Choosing the right approach to your meeting, including meeting strategy, preparation and pre-briefings
- Messaging, persuasion techniques and styles
- How to deliver powerful, succinct and persuasive arguments
- Using body language to be more influential
