Corporate Responsibility Communication Professional
Corporate Responsibility seeks a communications professional with experience building integrated public affairs and communications campaigns across earned, owned, and paid channels. The candidate will play a crucial role in telling the story of JPMorgan Chase’s economic impact and business footprint in local communities across the U.S.
The ideal candidate is proactive and can develop clear messaging and holistic communications plans by soliciting input across the firm’s key business and philanthropic hubs. They should understand how to strategically engage media, partners, and influencers to drive a proactive narrative.
Job Summary
Vice President, Public Affairs for Corporate Responsibility
As a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, you will lead projects with numerous stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of Local Public Affairs, this role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates thriving in a collaborative environment, understanding the intersection of business, philanthropy, and policymakers’ interests.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead public affairs campaigns in local markets to drive a coordinated, proactive narrative.
- Proactively identify opportunities to amplify the firm’s local impact across communications channels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate a holistic story of local impact.
- Identify and leverage key internal and external stakeholders for thought leadership opportunities.
- Lead the creation and deployment of messaging in local markets.
- Build and execute integrated communications plans and editorial calendars.
- Support localized storytelling across earned, paid, and owned media in partnership with marketing teams.
- Provide creative and strategic guidance for local events and convenings.
- Ensure clear, consistent, and timely communication with teams across JPMorgan Chase.
- Support ad hoc communications assignments across the Corporate Responsibility department.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 5-7 years of experience in integrated communications for corporations, campaigns, or non-profits.
- Agency or government experience preferred.
- Strategic thinker with excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build effective, collaborative relationships.
- Sound judgment, strong decision-making skills, and ability to advance independently.
- Commitment to exemplifying the highest standards of integrity and professional excellence.
