The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) has a full-time opportunity for a Digital Advocacy Manager. This position supports Public Affairs through strategic communication via digital channels, including social media presence, paid campaigns, and visual storytelling creative.

### Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but aren’t limited to:

– Maintains digital communications strategy, including managing social and digital media campaigns in support of public affairs goals. Determines correct targeting of key association audiences by platform.
– Generates organic social media content and timeline for digital channels, including X, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
– Manages content promotion and paid ad campaigns on social platforms.
– Produces infographics and other visual content to promote NAMIC advocacy efforts via multiple communication channels.
– Maintains metrics-based regular reporting of digital campaign results to association leadership.
– Drafts content for association publications, member communications, policy/issue papers, and more.

### Qualifications

Qualifications include:

– Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related discipline.
– 3+ years of experience in digital communications or related field.
– Knowledge of and experience in communicating via social media platforms including X, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
– Demonstrated leadership of social media and paid digital campaign strategy, as well as graphic design.
– Firm grasp of metrics-based reporting of digital campaign results.
– Experience working with media at the local, regional, trade, and national levels.
– Strong writing and editing skills.
– Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
– Insurance knowledge a plus, but not required.
– Ability to successfully pass a criminal background and MVR check.
