Job Opportunity: Graphic Design – Digital Media Assistant

We are looking for a Graphic Design – Digital Media Assistant to report to the Director of Business Development and the Senior Graphics Coordinator. This role will be involved in marketing and branding initiatives and will assist in creating and posting on several digital media platforms. Duties will include creating high-level communications materials to be used in the office and at conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Graphics: Create materials for print and digital communications, including advertisements, brochures, infographics, proposals, and more.
  • Writing: Develop content for social media, correspondence, newsletters, press releases, blogs, conferences, marketing, and sales materials.
  • Represent the company in media messaging for internal and external communication.
  • Execute marketing plans to portray our branding, awareness, and company position in all materials.
  • Demonstrate ownership of all assigned projects and meet deadlines for communication tasks.
  • Generate social media posts from community events and conferences.
  • Use creativity to explore new opportunities for the company in digital media.
  • Utilize marketing automation software such as Act-On and Hootsuite.
  • Manage the monthly marketing calendar using Monday.com and provide calendar content for Compliance Now.
  • Maintain the LobbyComply blog with original content, research department updates, and event coverage.
  • Assist co-workers with day-to-day marketing and communication tasks.
  • Be a self-starter eager to learn, grow, and develop with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the manager.

Required Software Proficiency

  • Adobe Creative Cloud: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel
  • Prezi
  • Camtasia

Preferred Abilities

  • A forward thinker who is aware of current trends and has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid work environment with tact and diplomacy.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or communication.
  • Internship or graphic design experience in a corporate or agency setting is desired.
  • Background with digital media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Experience with marketing automation software.
