Pay Range: $203,122 – $264,918. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and LTI.

The Primo Brands team is seeking a Head of Insights and Analytics to lead the learning agenda for the company and hold the consumer at the forefront of strategy development and decision-making. The role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer, sits on the Marketing Leadership Team, and has responsibility for 7 direct reports. The team is responsible for ensuring that consumer and shopper analytics and market insights are the foundations of our business strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the insights and analytics team and manage the full scope of quantitative and qualitative research initiatives to address business issues, opportunities, and questions:

    • Create actionable and insightful recommendations based on consumer insights & analytics and engage in compelling business storytelling to inspire action.

    • Lead appropriate qualitative and quantitative research to meet business objectives, including custom research (i.e., focus groups, ethnographies, online surveys) as well as analysis using syndicated data.

    • Define performance management strategy for the Brands and Ready Refresh and establish KPIs to measure and improve the effectiveness of marketing investments.

  2. Build the tools, reports, and external partnerships needed to maintain understanding of market trends and omnichannel category insights:

    • Build advanced analytics capabilities to assess business performance, forecast category and business trends, evaluate marketing and advertising effectiveness, and measure ROI.

    • Identify best research vendors through appropriate RFP processes and manage vendors from research design, fieldwork, analysis, reporting presentation delivery, and ensuring data accuracy.

  3. Partner with the brand, innovation, shopper, and category management teams in the development of learning plans to inform marketing and innovation strategies:

    • Recommend optimizations to marketing and media plans based on data analysis and consumer learning.

    • Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional leaders to provide shopper insights for retailer meetings and/or brand marketing and innovation initiatives.

    • Work with Brand Marketing teams to develop a deep understanding of target consumers, differentiated brand positionings, and defined portfolio architecture.

Qualifications

Key qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred.

  • 8-10 years’ experience in leading strategic insights and analytics teams, preferably in consumer products. 3+ years of work experience as director or above.

  • Advanced experience with industry-leading statistical and reporting tools, applications, and syndicated database experience.

  • Deep knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analysis and ability to provide intuitive, plain-language understanding to executives.

  • Strong commercial acumen and experience working across key channels of trade including Food, Drug, Mass, Convenience, Club, and E-Commerce.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to effectively interface and influence at all levels.

  • Ability to take initiative, develop, and seek out creative and innovative ideas.

Final salary offers are determined through a comprehensive evaluation of candidate qualifications and may vary depending on factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location of the position. Other components of the compensation package, including benefits and bonuses, will also be considered.
