Invariant seeks a Social Media Manager to join our growing Strategic Communications and Public Affairs team. You’ll work with an integrated team, gaining valuable experience across disciplines and driving real action for clients.

What you’ll do
- Create social media and content strategies in support of broader communications goals.
- Develop, implement, and manage social media campaigns, including paid components, across social channels, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, BeReal, and Snapchat.
- Serve as a community manager for multiple client brands, flagging issues and opportunities for audience engagement.
- Write social copy for posts and develop creative briefs for the production of graphics, videos, Tik Toks, reels, etc.
- Seize quick-turn social opportunities for clients, paying attention to the news cycle and real-time social, cultural, and political events.
- Develop and maintain editorial calendars for multiple clients.
- Maintain an expert understanding of the changing social media landscape and educate team members on best practices and platform updates.
- Monitor and report on analytics to inform social campaign measurement and optimization.
- Develop and deploy influencer marketing and third-party support programs.
- Collaborate with strategy, paid, and creative teams.
Who you are
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in social media marketing and community management or related fields, such as advertising.
- Strong understanding of all content opportunities across social media platforms, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, BeReal, and Snapchat.
- Working knowledge of content marketing, paid media, and influencer engagement.
- Exceptional project management skills and supreme attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines with a focus on detail and precision.
- Excellent time management skills. Comfortable and adaptive when working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Solid communication skills and ability to manage both up and down.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
