Vision360 Partners, a privately held, non-partisan medium-sized strategic communications firm, is seeking a Managing Director of strategic communications with an interest in working on public affairs, crisis, and litigation-related clients.

### What We Are Looking For

Ideal candidates are self-starters with the ability to grasp complex subject matters and communicate quickly and strategically. Candidates should have strong writing and research skills, media relations experience, management experience, and the ability to formulate effective communication strategies and messages for public affairs and/or crisis and litigation clients. A minimum of ten years of professional experience is required. Prior work experience at another strategic communications agency, in the legislative or executive branches of a state or the federal government, at a law firm or in a litigation communications role, in politics, or journalism is strongly preferred.

### Job Responsibilities

– Advise and lead multiple clients and internal account teams, drawing on your deep knowledge of strategic communications, public affairs, and crisis situations, as well as professional consultant experience.
– Demonstrate expertise on your client’s specific industry, business issue, and/or communication challenge across multiple sectors such as litigation, technology, financial services, transportation, and more.
– Develop communication strategy and tactical plans on behalf of your clients.
– Actively and effectively manage your clients and internal account teams, driving day-to-day account activities.
– Write thoughtful, well-structured content with the ability to adapt style and tone of communications to specific audiences.
– Produce high-level communications materials including press releases, op-eds, media statements, Q&As, talking points, and other messaging materials and strategy documents.
– Manage media relations campaigns, working with clients and internal teams to coordinate strategy and execution.
– Participate in business development, proposal writing, presentations, and more.
– Mentor the internal team’s skills by identifying growth opportunities and encouraging teams to stretch where appropriate.
