Role Overview
This position plays an essential role, including the following responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of key deliverables to stakeholders and partners related to the Workforce Innovation team’s portfolio of projects.
- Develop reports, collateral, toolkits, and social media content as needed.
- Drive collaboration with other programs and related activities under the Workforce Innovation portfolio, including badging, credentialing, and skills-based hiring initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key policymakers and stakeholders, monitor legislative and regulatory developments, and develop advocacy strategies based on the needs of the manufacturing sector.

Ideal Candidate Criteria
We are looking for team players who meet the following criteria:
- Experience: Workforce development and familiarity with the federal government (legislative or executive branches).
- Education: A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field.
- Work History: Five to seven years of experience, preferably in:
- Education and workforce development policy
- Building and supporting training models for industry
- Industry sector partnership development
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the political landscape, policy processes, education and workforce policy issues, and advocacy strategies.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work under pressure, managing workloads to meet deadlines in a hybrid and fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills, tools, and processes for performing multiple tasks across software applications and projects.
- Mindset: A “continuous improvement” attitude, always seeking ways to enhance quality and outcomes.
