The Foundation is a non-partisan organization which sustains the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, CA, the Reagan Center for Public Affairs, the Presidential Learning Center, The Air Force One Pavilion, the award-winning Discovery Center, and the Reagan Institute, which carries out the Foundation’s mission in Washington, DC.

### Job Description

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute seeks a full-time, experienced Program Manager for the newly established Center on Civility and Democracy. This position will operationalize the Center’s vision and concept into reality. Reporting to the Director of the Center, the Program Manager will be essential in launching new initiatives and convenings that seek to reduce the toxic nature of today’s political discourse and strengthen our democracy. The Program Manager role will have several duties including but not limited to the following:

#### Key Responsibilities

– Organize existing research and landscape analyses into a cohesive planning narrative.
– Strategize and outline programming goals and objectives.
– Oversee planning and execution of programming initiatives including outside advisors, convenings, working groups, etc.
– Develop internal systems, processes and infrastructure leveraging digital suites and project management tools.
– Communicate program objectives and progress to stakeholders including senior leadership, trustees, donors, and key partners.
– Monitor and evaluate program efforts against stated goals and objectives.
– Support other RRPFI initiatives including signature convenings and events as directed.
– Based in Washington, DC, the successful candidate will work closely with RRPFI colleagues in Washington, DC, and Simi Valley, CA, including on graphics, traditional media, and social media engagement.

### Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate must be passionate about President Ronald Reagan’s legacy and principles.

– Bachelor’s degree required.
– 3-5 years of work experience.
– Supervisory experience preferred.
– Must be an energetic self-starter and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
– Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and collegial.
– Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
– Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
– Ability and willingness to learn – and stay updated – on the Reagan Foundation and Institute’s operations, projects, and programs.
– Work may be required on evenings or weekends for special events.
– Driven and eager to make a real impact.
