Azimuth Corporation Program & Policy Analyst Position

Azimuth Corporation is actively looking for a Program & Policy Analyst to provide research, analysis, coordination, and review of programmatic and policy issues in support of a government customer in Arlington, VA (Pentagon). Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide senior staff with analytical and management support, data analysis support, correspondence control, real estate policy assessments.
  • Provide on-site support in developing, implementing, and enforcing policy and procedures.
  • Provide program and administrative management support as necessary.
  • Assist with drafting inquiries responses as well as reports for Congress, the Secretary of Defense, and the White House.
  • Monitors Congressional, GAO, and OIG reporting requirements.
  • Participation, possibly in both writing and review, in the bid and proposal process for Azimuth’s strategic growth portfolio.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or additional 6 years’ experience in lieu of degree.
  • 5 years’ proven expertise at headquarters-level providing staff officer actions and support.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Situational policy allows for 50-80% telework. Ability to report on-site within a short time period is required. Telework policy is subject to change per government customer.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Congressional Hearings and Reporting Requirements System (CHARRTS).
  • Previous experience providing legislative and policy oversight support.
  • Experience with Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS).

Physical Requirements / Travel

  • Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
  • May travel ~10% to conferences, program reviews, industry meetings, or other collaborative events. Most or all travel would be CONUS.
