Position Overview
This position does not necessarily have regular work hours. This position has responsibilities related to the development and implementation of FRBH’s communications strategy and objectives. The major tasks of this position are to plan, develop, and implement the Organization’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. This position will also oversee the development and implementation of support materials in the area of marketing, communications and public relations. This position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer or as stipulated in an Appointment Letter. This position may also be responsible for a variety of tasks that are nonetheless essential to the smooth functioning of the corporation under the heading of “Miscellaneous”.

Major Tasks / Responsibilities
Plan, Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies
Develop communications strategies to broaden programmatic reach and deepen impact to existing clients and the community.

Identify media opportunities that can be explored to grow community awareness of FRBH client services and corporate image.

Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of community, consumer, employee, and public interest groups.

Develop public relations strategies that will influence public opinion or promote ideas, products and services.

Consult with advertising agencies or staff to arrange promotional campaigns in various types of media for products, organizations, or individuals.

Work with the Corporate Leadership Council to achieve organizational goals and objectives by administering the communications and public relations initiatives.

Develops and Implements Support Materials
Serve as overseer for the development, production and maintenance of the company’s internal and external communications, including marketing materials, publications, newsletters, invitations, flyers, and advertisements.

Coordinate the development of the Corporation’s Annual Report.

Work in partnership with the Chief Information Officer to ensure the agency website contains updated information.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities
Meets productivity standards as assigned.

Works cooperatively with all FRBH staff members and contract entities to facilitate smooth corporate functioning.

Attends periodic meetings and/or trainings as assigned.

Provides well-grounded advice to the Corporate Leadership Council, both proactively and reactively.

Performs other duties or responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Must have experience in graphic design.

Must have five (5) years of experience in the communication field.

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Must have references that report exceptional skills at self-direction, planning, and organization.

Must pass all required background checks.
