Sr. Account Executive Position
We are seeking a Sr. Account Executive to join our team to apply their skills in the areas of strategic marketing communications and public relations. This position will work with the production manager and creative team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The position will assist with the agency’s marketing and new business pursuits.

As an agency, Jones Worley focuses in two areas:
- Marketing communications/PR for a variety of clients
- Experiential graphic design, typically wayfinding and signage for clients in transportation and built environments (airports, transit authorities, parking decks, public spaces, corporate and school campuses, etc.)
Essential Responsibilities
- Maintain client relationships through regular contact via phone, email and face-to-face meetings
- Problem-solve and provide assistance to management and clients on scheduling, manpower needs and project issues
- Direct creative services team and supervise implementation of client project work with the utmost professionalism
- Maintain 3rd party vendor relationships — media partners, freelancers, production companies, etc.
- Participate in upfront development of project scope and fee, and track project hours through final invoicing
- Provide day-to-day client contact for pending and active creative projects
- Be a key resource in the development of account strategies, communication plans and campaigns, and creative briefs
- Provide strategic input and recommendations for client goals/objectives as needed
- Promote the expansion of business within existing clients
- Work with staff to:
- Identify and capture additional services: scope and fee
- Monitor project status
- Obtain budget pricing for project costs / provide keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
- Prepare concise written communication and reliable documentation for the record file
- Ensure high level of craftsmanship, accuracy and consistency in your work
- Acquire and exercise working knowledge of software tools when needed to complete projects or improve efficiency
Marketing / New Business Tasks
- Manage requests for proposals (RFPs) and RFQs as assigned
- Facilitate the process for RFP responses and other proposals — work with Principal/SVP to assign responsibilities, develop schedule/deadlines for staff, conduct research/information-gathering, write content and lay out initial draft of document
- Take responsibility for quality control of RFPs — verify accuracy of information, ensure all requirements are met, proof document for errors
- Work with marketing specialist to update and maintain qualifications materials — bios, resumes, project sheets, templates, etc.
- Manage select JW marketing initiatives including eBlasts, website updates and follow-up correspondence for prospects
- Other projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or journalism, English or related field
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
- Working knowledge of key marketing and communications tools such as Meltwater, Canva, AI, Mailchimp/Constant Contact, Hootsuite, etc.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Workamajig, Trello, etc.
