ICF Next – Social Media Manager Position
ICF Next is one of Europe’s leading integrated communication agencies, specializing in large-scale campaigns across the European Union.
We are looking for a creative and dynamic team player to fill the position of Social Media Manager. This role would be based at one of our client’s premises.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Weekly Social Media Posts Proposals:
- The posts should be based on the client’s content calendar and news from the client’s communities.
- The content promotes the client in an innovative and creative way.
- Proposals should be delivered and adapted to each social media channel (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Instagram & Facebook stories).
- Post proposal should include attractive and engaging visuals (videos, pictures, animations, etc.) drawing on existing communications assets whilst producing and ‘re-packaging’ content.
- Develop and Execute Creative Concepts:
- Engage with followers on a monthly basis through creative concepts (polls, takeovers, live interviews, etc.).
- Strengthen Social Media Coverage During Events:
- Regular live posting/tweeting throughout events and speaking engagements.
- Optimize promotion of events by providing images and post proposals before and during events for the client’s corporate accounts and its staff members.
- Monitor Social Media Trends and Conversations:
- Keep track of key topics such as education, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the challenges the client tackles.
- Create social media posts that respond to these conversations, keeping in mind the client’s key messages.
- Interact with Followers:
- Respond to direct messages and posts where the client is mentioned.
- Provide Regular Ongoing Social Media Monitoring:
- Minimum twice a day.
- Alert system in case of negative posts/tweets.
- Weekly Social Media Flash Report:
- Based on a commonly agreed template.
- Following the agreed quantitative and qualitative indicators.
- Monthly and Annual Social Media Report:
- Provide a monthly and annual social media report based on a commonly agreed template.
- The monthly report should be delivered at the beginning of week 2 of the next month.
Requirements:
- Proven record of at least three years of dedicated/specialized experience in successful management of social media platforms.
- Portfolio showcasing a wide variety of social media work.
- Good knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- C1 level English.
- Preferably, the candidate has some experience in managing EU bodies’ social media channels and/or targeting Brussels-based decision- and policy-makers.
