### Corporate Communications Specialist

The Corporate Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of PR and communications efforts to drive affinity, top of mind awareness, and positive reputation for Pharmavite, Nature Made vitamins, and other key vitamin and supplement brands within the Pharmavite portfolio. The Corporate Communications Specialist reports to Pharmavite’s Corporate Communications Manager.

#### Key Responsibilities

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:

– Support the development and day-to-day execution of PR and communications tactics to elevate Pharmavite, Nature Made vitamins, and other key vitamin and supplement brands within the Pharmavite portfolio to media, industry stakeholders and opinion leaders, consumers, and other key external stakeholders.

– Support external agencies in day-to-day execution, inclusive of optimizing materials for earned media and organizational success, facilitating approvals from relevant organizational and external partners, compiling requested information and assets needs, and more.

– Remain up to speed on the media landscape and proactively identify strategic opportunities within consumer, business, and trade verticals that will help achieve PR goals and objectives.

– Monitor industry and competitive landscape, report relevant updates to key organizational stakeholders, and engage relevant organizational team members for support on reactive communication strategies and applicable materials, as needed.

– Monitor, track, analyze, evaluate, and report on key efforts and merchandize relevant insights, learnings, and implications to key organizational stakeholders.

– Craft, review, and manage various external communications projects simultaneously, while also supporting internal communications as needed to ensure key messages, priorities, and values are effectively cascaded throughout the company.

– Coordinate organizational presence and craft correlating briefing materials for speaking opportunities, panel appearances, trade shows, conferences, and other industry-focused events.

– Support crisis and issues management efforts.

– Support healthcare professional outreach and advocacy efforts.

– Liaise with organizational partners, as well as external vendors and partners, to execute public relations strategies and tactics.

– Work with various functional teams at all levels in a consultative manner.

– Maintain corporate communication and public relations documents according to the company’s document retention policy.

– Support the effective management of department budgets, as well as campaign budgets in partnership with key organizational partners.

– Performs other related duties as assigned.

#### Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter with a proven track record of executing results-driven PR strategies efficiently and in an organized manner. You are an experienced storyteller with the innate ability to remain on top of the news cycle, understand potential business implications, and synthesize information to various stakeholders.

#### Critical Success Factors

You’ll be most successful in this role if you have:

– Excellent written and verbal presentation skills with an understanding of how to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences

– The ability to proofread and edit materials with a proficiency in AP writing style

– Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information

– The ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while handling multiple concurrent assignments

– The ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization and externally; ability to develop and maintain effective relationships

– Competency in project management, team building, cross-functional collaboration, and outside vendor management

– Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, priority setting, and tactical skills

– Highly developed presentation skills

#### Capabilities & Skills Required

In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have:

– Minimum 4 years PR agency or in-house strategic public relations and corporate communications experience.

– Strong understanding of the media landscape and experience working with media, as well as experience with monitoring platforms, wire services, and other relevant tools.

– Strong understanding of PR-specific KPIs and reporting techniques, with the ability to interpret and utilize data to inform strategies.

– Strong understanding of the influencer ecosystem and social media, as well as the ability to craft content and stay up to date on emerging platforms and trends.

#### Annual Pay

Annual Pay Range:

$81,488.00 – $122,283.00

This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.
