Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager of Internal Communications, management level 2, of the Corporate Communications subfamily within the Marketing job family is responsible for all activities designed to reduce the sales cycle by creating awareness, building a positive brand image and story, providing educational collateral, clearly articulating our differentiations, and targeting the right audiences. Also responsible for internal and external communication strategies and execution.
The Corporate Communication subfamily is responsible for all key internal and external communications, executing on ML PR strategy, and assisting on internal IR communications. The Sr. Manager of Internal Communications will be responsible for enhancing employee engagement, fostering a positive workplace culture, and delivering clear, consistent communication across all levels of the organization.
The management level 2 role will revamp and maintain the company’s intranet, ensuring that all content is current, relevant, and aligned with the Company’s objectives. The role will collaborate closely with senior leadership, HR, and other departments to ensure the effective flow of information, promote the total employee experience, and highlight organizational initiatives.
Expected Duties:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with the organization’s business objectives and promotes employee engagement.
- Work closely with senior leadership to ensure effective communication of corporate messages, vision, and updates.
- Oversee the content strategy for the intranet by leading the redesign, restructuring, and ongoing management of the Company’s intranet platform.
- Partner with various departments to ensure all content aligns with company goals, values, and key initiatives.
- Establish governance guidelines for the intranet to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency across all content.
- Develop communication plans for major corporate events, initiatives, and changes to keep employees well-informed and engaged.
- Create engaging and informative content for employees at all levels of the organization and maintain a comprehensive internal content calendar.
- Collaborate with HR to lead efforts in measuring employee engagement through surveys, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms.
- Analyze feedback data and provide recommendations to improve internal communications and increase employee engagement.
- Foster an environment of two-way communication by promoting channels for employee feedback and open dialogue.
- Lead regular check-ins and brainstorming sessions with leadership to ensure communication strategies remain aligned.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on internal communication best practices and trends.
- Partner with HR, IT, Legal, and other departments to ensure internal communication strategies align with broader organizational goals.
- Execute communication plans for organizational changes as needed.
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A level 2 management position is expected to execute processes within a subfunction or department. The role requires the establishment of annual objectives and the execution of tactics to meet MeridianLink objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial or senior role.
- Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages for a wide variety of audiences.
- Experience in managing and revamping intranet platforms or internal digital communications tools.
- Understanding of change management and employee engagement strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders, teams, and employees.
- Experience with analytics tools to measure communication effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Intranet Expertise: Deep experience with modern intranet technologies (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, etc.).
- Organizational Excellence: Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, ensuring projects are on track and aligned with business objectives.
- Innovative Problem-Solving: Exhibited solution-minded thinking and innovative problem-solving skills, ensuring roadblocks are addressed promptly.
- Ability to meet deadlines while delivering high-quality results.

Offer Conditions
MeridianLink runs a comprehensive background check, credit check, and drug test as part of our offer process.
Salary range: $125,800 – $177,600. (It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.) The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law, including geographical location.
