Session 1: Strategic Planning to Manage Your Global Reputation

The first session of this workshop will focus on the building blocks of your global communication strategy. What steps can you take to better understand the landscape in which your global organization operates, identify the key issues and risks, and translate that assessment into a strategic communication plan?

Speakers will discuss the challenges facing global companies in today’s uncertain environment, how you can identify critical issues and anticipate global threats, and how to map your most important stakeholders.

Session 2: Communicating Your Brand Globally – Case Studies, Lessons Learned and Best Practice

The second session of the workshop will explore how you can engage with your key stakeholders, build alliances and develop your global brand. We will move from “listening” mode to “engaging” mode: how to translate your issues and stakeholder mapping into an outreach plan that allows your organization to successfully communicate with local, regional and global audiences?

Speakers will share examples, best practices and lessons learned from global communication campaigns, and discuss how their teams have navigated political challenges, cultural differences, coalition-building and challenges to their company’s global reputation in international capitals.
