### Job Description

Holland & Knight’s Washington, DC office is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Compliance Specialist to assist our clients with filing Federal Election Commission (FEC) and Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA) reports, as well as similar state, local, and financial disclosure reporting. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in compliance, accounting, or a related field. Prior experience with FEC reporting is helpful but not required.

### Key Responsibilities

– Assist clients in preparing and filing FEC, LDA, and state/local reports accurately and on time.
– Assist clients in the preparation of nominee or officeholder financial disclosure filings.
– Review and analyze financial data to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and agency guidance to ensure accuracy in reporting.
– Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and resolve any issues related to report filings.
– Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in all compliance-related activities.

### Job Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, political science, or a related field.
– 4-7 years of experience in compliance, accounting, or a related field.
– Prior experience with FEC, LDA, or OGE reporting is helpful but not required.
– Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with compliance software is a plus.
