The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) is seeking an experienced, energetic, and articulate professional to join the team. The Digital Communications Manager will join a growing communications team that works relentlessly to engage leaders in Washington, DC, and across the country to tell the story of how U.S. global leadership helps build a better world and a stronger America.

At this moment of rising global threats, USGLC’s nationwide coalition of bipartisan political, military, NGO, and business leaders makes the case to policymakers and the general public that America’s continued engagement in the world is vital to our own security, prosperity, and values.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in graphic design and social media management to help better tell our story – from building digital storytelling campaigns that can influence key policymakers to creating beautiful invitations for high-profile events with policy and political leaders.

### Responsibilities Include

**Graphic design** – Design and develop branded content – in partnership with team members from across the organization and at times with design vendors – to help tell USGLC’s story, including creative social media graphics, digital invitations, marquee reports, marketing materials, and other content.

**Social media** – Drive USGLC’s voice across social media by developing and implementing targeted strategies across X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram that advance USGLC’s mission and increases audience growth and engagement. Analyze impact metrics across platforms to evaluate impact and performance to drive best practices that improve content and reach.

**Strategic planning** – Create and maintain a digital content calendar to support medium- and long-term planning that is integrated with broader communications and organization priorities.

**Other related projects** – Not limited to but includes managing USGLC photo and videography needs by capturing, selecting, editing, procuring, and archiving photos and videos. While professional-level photography and videography skills are not required, general knowledge of photo and videography is preferred.

### Position Requirements

– Minimum of three years of proven experience in graphic design, social-media content creation and strategy, digital storytelling, and other digital communications.
– Demonstrated ability to deliver on tight timelines while maintaining close attention to detail.
– Ability to articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner, including design decisions.
– Key competencies with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. HTML/CSS and WordPress content management a plus.
– Strong collaboration skills; highly organized, experience working with people from diverse backgrounds. A flexible team player who shares responsibility and credit alike.

### Compensation

A projected salary range of $50K-$75K will be offered, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The USGLC also provides a package of benefits, including health and disability insurance, retirement plan, paid annual and sick leave, and federal holidays.
