As a Senior Manager within the Policy team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our global efforts. Joining the Policy Products team, you will be instrumental in shaping our policy conversations as we navigate over 180,000 jurisdictions worldwide.

The Difference You Will Make

In this role, you will lead Airbnb’s City Portal product offering, a vital resource shared with over 600 governments globally. You will collaborate cross-functionally to set the strategic direction for this robust product, working closely with our talented product teams to develop cutting-edge features. Additionally, you will take ownership of implementing comprehensive training, reporting, and feedback programs to ensure seamless collaboration between internal and external users in a scalable manner.

Furthermore, you will serve as a program manager for our team’s ambitious scaling efforts, managing the Policy CRM roadmap and cross-functional work driving the evolution of our centralized tooling. Your responsibilities will include developing detailed project plans for multiple workstreams, fostering collaboration across functions to propel progress, and delivering insightful reports to various stakeholders.

A Typical Day

  • Lead the strategic evolution of Airbnb’s City Portal product, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape its development and ensure it meets the needs of over 600 governments worldwide.
  • Collaborate with product teams to contribute to the development of new features for Airbnb’s City Portal, ensuring that it remains a cutting-edge resource for government partners.
  • Drive the feedback and reporting processes for the Portal, working closely with teams interacting with government users to collect valuable insights from governments worldwide, informing continuous improvement and enhancing the user experience.
  • Manage multiple workstreams within the scaling efforts of the Policy team, including AI integration, by developing project plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring progress towards key milestones.
  • Collaborate with the Policy CRM and Political Intelligence Manager to incorporate feedback from the +150 campaign team end users into the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align on objectives, share progress updates, and address any challenges or roadblocks.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and technology best practices to inform strategic decision-making and maintain Airbnb’s position as a leader in policy innovation.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and scaling within the Policy team and across Airbnb.

Your Expertise

  • At least seven years of experience in public policy, marketing, or operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in program or project management in a fast-paced and complex environment, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within scope.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse functions and teams, bridging gaps between different work languages and fostering productive partnerships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset to inform decision-making and optimize strategies.
  • Experience navigating and working within regulatory or policy frameworks is highly desirable, with an understanding of the unique challenges and considerations in policy development and implementation.

Your Location

This position is US – Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with your manager. While the position is Remote Eligible, you must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity. How We’ll Take Care of You

Our job titles may span more than one career level. Actual base pay depends on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

Pay Range
$142,000—$168,500 USD
