Director, Global Payer Marketing (REMOTE)

The Director, Global Payer Marketing is responsible for developing comprehensive payer marketing strategies to support the global commercialization of all products in the Diabetes Care portfolio. This includes:

  • Setting the direction of payer marketing and market development strategies.
  • Defining the payer research plans.
  • Identifying reimbursement pathways for pipeline products.
  • Acting as a thought leader to local Market Access teams in their respective countries.

This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams, to ensure alignment and drive successful market access and reimbursement strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Assess market environment and emerging trends.
  • Effectively leverage global payer expertise to develop reimbursement strategies.
  • Incorporate global reimbursement strategies into global strategic planning and long-range forecasting.
  • Develop global payer marketing tools and resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with in-country teams to align on business objectives.
  • Monitor and report reimbursement issues, challenges, and opportunities related to access for on-market and pipeline ADC products.
  • Interact with key internal stakeholders such as HEOR, Medical, Clinical, R&D, Regulatory, and Legal.
  • Provide strategic positioning and direction for products.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Accountability/Scope/Budget

  • Create and implement payer marketing programs that support market access and reimbursement across global markets.
  • Manage budget within tolerances set by Finance.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: B.A. or B.S. Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years’ experience in any combination of the following: marketing, product marketing, payer/reimbursement, pricing and contracts, and/or sales.
  • Industry Background: Medical device or pharmaceutical experience desirable. Experience in the diabetes industry with a payer/reimbursement role is optimal.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and analytical skills. Demonstrated experience in organizing and leading cross-functional teams.

Compensation

The base pay for this position is $143,300.00 – $286,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
