## State Policy Analyst
The State Policy Analyst supports the development and execution of the company’s state government affairs and health policy strategy. This role plays a key part in monitoring state legislation and regulations, managing policy data systems, and contributing to team project management efforts. This position is ideal for a policy professional with experience in healthcare or government affairs who enjoys analytical work, cross‑functional collaboration, and contributing to policy strategies that shape the future of healthcare.
### Key Responsibilities
• Monitor state legislative activity, including introduction, movement, and passage of bills relevant to the MedTech industry.
• Track state regulatory developments, including rulemakings, guidance documents, and administrative actions.
• Manage and maintain the company’s state policy databases, ensuring timely updates, accuracy, and strong data organization.
• Support cross‑functional collaboration with Quality and Reimbursement, and other teams including the field.
• Assist with project management for state policy initiatives, including timelines, task coordination, and documentation.
• Conduct policy research and analysis to support state and federal advocacy on topics such as emerging state health policy trends, reimbursement developments, and MedTech regulatory frameworks.
• Support the development of advocacy materials, policy summaries, presentations, and internal briefings.
### Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Health Administration, Public Health, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare policy, government affairs, regulatory affairs, or relevant public‑sector roles.
• Strong understanding of state legislative and regulatory processes.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills, with the ability to communicate policy insights clearly to internal and external audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with policy tracking platforms and database management preferred.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
### Preferred Attributes
• Familiarity with the MedTech industry or broader healthcare ecosystem.
• Experience working with multi‑state issue portfolios.
• Highly detail‑oriented with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.

## Compensation
**Base pay range:**
$109,920 – $151,140
Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission‑eligible position, commission eligibility will follow the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions are based on individual and/or company performance.
