The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) is seeking a strategic, results-driven leader to oversee and execute its political engagement and PAC fundraising efforts. This role is responsible for driving growth in IDFA’s PAC, leading high-impact advocacy initiatives, and strengthening member engagement with policymakers. The Director will play a central role in advancing IDFA’s federal priorities by delivering best-in-class fundraising programs and executing high-visibility fly-ins, fly-outs, and political events that connect industry leaders with key decision-makers.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead and execute IDFA’s PAC strategy, with accountability for fundraising growth, donor engagement, and compliance
* Develop and implement targeted fundraising campaigns and events, including major donor cultivation and member activation strategies that are FEC-compliant
* Plan and execute congressional fly-ins and fly-outs, ensuring strong participation, clear messaging, and measurable advocacy outcomes
* Partner with the government relations team to align political engagement with IDFA’s legislative priorities
* Build and maintain relationships with member company executives to increase participation in PAC and advocacy initiatives
* Oversee political and fundraising events at IDFA conferences and industry convenings
* Develop compelling communications and materials to support fundraising and advocacy efforts
* Ensure full compliance with all PAC regulations, reporting, and governance requirements
* Advise senior leadership on political engagement strategy and opportunities

**Qualifications**

* 7–10+ years of experience in PAC management, political fundraising, or government affairs
* Proven ability to drive fundraising results and execute complex, high-profile initiatives
* Experience planning and leading fly-ins, fly-outs, or similar advocacy programs
* Strong communication skills and ability to engage senior executives and policymakers
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Familiarity with Federal Election Committee fundraising rules, compliance, and filings
* Professional, proactive, and collaborative approach
* Bachelor’s degree required

**Additional Details**

* **Location:** Based in Washington, D.C.
* **Work Schedule:** Flexible office/remote policy
* **Travel:** Approximately 20–25% domestic travel, including member meetings, regulatory engagement, and industry events
