## Manager, Media & Communications Analytics

The Manager, Media & Communications Analytics primarily supports the tracking of communications metrics associated with both traditional and social media across IFAW’s multiple communications channels, and translates those metrics into quantitative and qualitative learnings that help tell the IFAW conservation story. These learnings support organizational knowledge‑sharing across teams and with key internal and external stakeholders. The role also provides Communications support to the Director of the Executive Office as needed.

## Role and Responsibilities

– Maintain and manage a comprehensive media analytics tracker, monitoring all coverage across traditional and social media related to IFAW’s conservation work and priority campaigns.
– Utilize Meltwater, Sprout, Asana, and other platforms to track, record, and evaluate relevant media metrics.
– Evaluate the results of IFAW’s individual communications channels to assess effectiveness and develop recommendations to improve media performance.
– Work with the Communications Leadership team and the broader global team to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure maximum outreach to key stakeholders, with a focus on IFAW donors and the general public.
– Support the Executive Office Director with administrative tasks related to Communications operations.
– Assist the Executive Office Communications Manager (based in UAE) with preparing reports and internal documentation that convey the progress, status, and effectiveness of IFAW’s communications efforts.
– Monitor and flag issues or developments that may require leadership awareness or response from the Executive Office.
– Support preparation for interviews, speaking engagements, and stakeholder meetings, including briefing materials as needed.
– Maintain additional trackers (outside of Communications) for Executive Office priorities, key initiatives, and follow‑up actions to support leadership decision‑making.

## Qualifications and Education Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Communications, Analytics, Media Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
– In‑depth experience in media monitoring and social media analytics.
– Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to synthesize information quickly and provide effective next steps.
– Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
– Ability to manage multiple priorities in a mission‑driven environment.
– Familiarity with media monitoring tools and analytics platforms is a must.

**Hiring range: $68,000 – $85,000**
