**Account Supervisor, Public Affairs — RH Strategic**
RH Strategic is seeking an **Account Supervisor** with public affairs expertise to join its team in Washington, D.C. This role is ideal for professionals experienced at the intersection of **policy and communications** within the D.C. market, with emphasis on issues affecting the **technology**, **labor**, and **healthcare** policy sectors.
This is a full-time role based in Washington, D.C., requiring an in‑office presence at least three days per week. Candidates must currently reside in the **DMV metro area**.

### **Responsibilities**
– Leading creation and execution of **public affairs strategies and campaigns** to influence public policy and regulation through press, social media, events, and engagement with coalitions, trade associations, think tanks, and advocacy organizations.
– Conceptualizing, drafting, and editing **public affairs and policy communications content**, including talking points, briefing documents, op‑eds, and testimony.
– Monitoring legislation and policy developments and counseling clients on real‑time updates, impacts, and methods to shape outcomes.
– Building and maintaining strong client relationships, particularly with government relations teams, and serving as a strategic communications advisor.
– Leading internal teams and leveraging resources to meet project expectations, deliver high‑quality work, and align strategies with business goals.
– Representing the firm and clients among influencers and organizations within D.C.
– Mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional growth.

### **What We’re Looking For**
– Congressional Hill experience, with at least **two (2) years** working for a Member of Congress.
– Experience advocating on behalf of an association, agency, administration, or corporation to Congress to influence federal policy.
– Experience in a D.C.-based **public affairs or PR agency** (minimum two years), or in corporate government relations or communications.
– Strong understanding of how **policy and regulation** are shaped and influenced.
– Creative, critical thinker who brings proactive ideas to client campaigns.
– Demonstrated interest in policy issues, particularly in **technology**, **labor**, or **healthcare** sectors.

### **Requirements**
– **7–10 years** of policy, public affairs, and/or policy communications experience.
– Ability to devise and execute **public affairs communications strategies** and campaigns supporting client objectives.
– Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver high‑quality work.
– Experience developing content including congressional testimony, executive reporting materials, blogs, bylines, and policy messaging/briefings.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills with teams, clients, media, and partners.
– Ability to take feedback and apply it to future work, with curiosity and desire to grow.
– Must be a proactive, detail‑oriented communicator.

### **Pay and Benefits**
**Salary:** $95,000–$120,000 annually.
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay at the time of posting. Compensation will be based on skills, qualifications, and experience. The Company may modify this range at any time and may offer an annual bonus at its discretion.
