Signal is seeking a communications director to lead media engagement and be a trusted partner for our client portfolio across global and domestic policy topics. You’ll create integrated public affairs campaigns that influence decision‑makers and advance clients’ objectives in energy, security, industry, and other regulated sectors. ## What You’ll Do
– Lead the development, implementation, and execution of communication strategies
– Lead regular interaction with journalists in a variety of U.S. and international markets
– Conduct routine senior‑level client contact and team management
– Excel at research and writing
– Manage development and production of materials to support campaigns across all channels

## Qualifications
– Strong media relations skills: reporter relationships across the spectrum, pitching experience, booking and staffing interviews, developing prep materials
– Sharp writing and editing skills: ability to write for different audiences/client voices, experience writing social media content and press materials, ability to translate complex policy into sharp messaging
– Strategic planning and project management: developing rollout plans, project timelines, and tracking deliverables
– 7+ years of PR agency, in‑house, Capitol Hill, or government communications experience
