## Government Relations Coordinator
340B Health has an immediate opening for a Government Relations Coordinator at our thriving national nonprofit health care trade association. As a member of the Government Relations team, you will support efforts to shape the strategies and tactics to effectively represent the organization on Capitol Hill, with the administration, and throughout the 340B provider community. The **Government Relations Coordinator** will play an integral role in our government relations activities and collaborate with 340B Health member hospitals to engage in advocacy.

## Primary Responsibilities
– **Lobby day support** — Assist the Director of Grassroots in executing two lobby day events per year for member hospitals, including event logistics, program and materials preparation, participant recruitment, and post‑event analysis and follow‑up.
– **Calendar management** — Maintain GR team calendars and coordinate meeting invitations.
– **Meeting coordination** — Arrange and support meetings and calls with members, outside consultants, and other stakeholders, managing all scheduling logistics and agendas.
– **Member hospital engagement** — Assist the Director of Grassroots in working with member hospitals to develop and share with policymakers the impact 340B has on their hospitals and patients.
– **Legislative monitoring** — Monitor and inform staff via our government relations platform of 340B activity on Capitol Hill, including legislation, hearings, and other congressional activity impacting the 340B program.
– **Champions Recognition Program** — Assist the Director of Grassroots in administering the program.
– **Federal Advocacy Toolkit** — With the Director of Government Relations, update and maintain the association’s Federal Advocacy Toolkit web content.
– **GR project support** — Support and contribute to Government Relations projects including newsletters, webinars, and action alerts.
– **Database maintenance** — Maintain the government relations database.
– **Conference assistance** — Attend and assist with bi‑annual conferences.
– **Writing and editing** — Assist with developing and editing government relations written material, such as talking points, policy summaries, PowerPoint presentations for lobby days, and government relations webinars.

## Education and Experience
– Bachelor’s degree required.
– Professional experience in a legislative setting or in government relations is a plus.

## Skills and Abilities
– Strong writing and communication skills.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Knowledge of Congress and the legislative process preferred.
– Commitment to schedules, deadlines, and high‑quality work product.
– Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
– Experience using the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

## Other Pertinent Information
– Staff are currently required to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday–Wednesday, and other days as needed, and must live in MD, DC, or VA. No exceptions.
– Overnight and out‑of‑state travel required, including to twice‑yearly conferences.
– May occasionally be required to lift and carry light materials, up to twenty‑five pounds.

Annual salary range: **$56,000–$75,000**, based on experience.
