**Corporate Affairs Associate – Lidl US**
The corporate affairs team at Lidl oversees internal communications, external communications/PR, government relations, and CSR/corporate giving. We’re looking for a detail‑oriented, self‑starter who is ready to support all parts of the corporate affairs function. This jack‑of‑all‑trades role supports the Head of Corporate Affairs and helps execute Lidl US’ corporate affairs strategy. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, proactively manages workstreams, and thrives under tight deadlines.

### Responsibilities
#### Internal Communications
– Support execution of internal communications strategy
– Help develop content for internal channels (intranet, internal app, etc.)
– Help maintain content calendars
– Support town hall meetings as needed (deck creation, in‑person execution)
#### PR Support
– Work with internal teams to gather information and facilitate approvals
– Draft PR reactive statements as needed
– Periodically travel to store openings
#### CSR Support
– Manage corporate donations
– Support development of CSR report
– Support employee engagement CSR initiatives
#### Corporate Web & Social Media
– Partner with Head of Corporate Affairs to plan and create corporate social channel content (videos, images, text, etc.)
– Support executive team LinkedIn needs as necessary
– Support corporate website content and design

– You are task‑ and detail‑oriented
– You are a self‑starter; you proactively communicate project status, identify challenges, and welcome feedback
– You are interested in and familiar with corporate communications, brand PR, executive communications, internal communications, government relations, CSR/corporate giving
– You are eager to learn more about all aspects of corporate affairs
– You excel at designing materials (social content, slide decks, fact sheets, emails)
– You can write engaging material on quick deadlines
– You work collaboratively and comfortably with various stakeholders
– You organize workstreams, create content calendars, and manage multiple projects
– You enjoy finding creative ways to communicate with employees

### Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
– Strong writing and design skills
– Ability to learn, adapt, and strive for continuous improvement
– Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a diverse workload with strong organizational skills

### Required Education, Certifications, Related Experience
– Bachelor’s Degree
– 1–3 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, or related field

### Physical Requirements
– Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
– Ability to sit, stand, walk, squat, and/or bend more than half the time
– Ability to operate equipment requiring constant use of hands/fingers/wrists more than half the time
– Ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors
– Ability to identify and distinguish between colors more than half the time
– Position commutes between regional stores/offices/distribution centers less than 25% of the time
– Position requires overnight domestic travel up to 20% of the time
– Travel may be by car, air, and/or train
