Compelling visuals make your advocacy and public affairs efforts stand out. Every advocacy professional should know how to create a quick graphic for their campaign or social media account. Attendees will:
- Learn how to harness the principles of visual design like scale and contrast
- Explore free and paid design tools to make basic visual content like Twitter cards and infographics

Because of its high engagement rates, video continues to dominate social media and online content. But for many organizations, creating compelling videos for advocacy or public policy can be a struggle. Our video expert will provide tactical lessons on:
- Crafting a story that really fits an audiovisual format
- Tactics and tips for using your iPhone or camera to create high-quality videos
- Strategies for maximizing your video development budget and measuring your video’s effectiveness
- Techniques for creating evergreen video content that can be repurposed, redistributed and leveraged across multiple platforms

Great creative cannot all be done in-house and often requires collaborating without outside partners. Our presenter will address how you can communicate your vision, establish project guidelines, provide constructive feedback and build a long lasting relationship with your outside partners and consultants.
*This is partially a hands-on workshop, in-person attendees must bring their own laptops.
