Whether you’re giving a formal presentation or sharing updates with colleagues, how you show up on screen matters. This session will provide practical tips to help you communicate with confidence and clarity in a virtual setting.

Our experts will cover:

  • Improving your on-camera presence with lighting, sound and background best practices
  • Techniques to maintain engagement, including voice, pacing, visuals and interaction
  • Tips for reading the (virtual) room

  • Use different communication channels (chat, email, video) with purpose and clarity
  • Build trust and connection with coworkers and collaborators, even across distance

Managing a team remotely brings a unique set of challenges. This segment will offer strategies to help supervisors and team leads foster a positive, productive virtual culture and maintain momentum across distance.

This session will address:

  • Setting expectations and creating efficient communication cadences
  • Recognition and morale boosters that work remotely
  • How to provide feedback, navigate conflict and handle performance issues virtually
