Pinkston seeks to hire an Account Executive who will be responsible for performing public relations responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, media relations, social media management, digital communications, press releases and book publicity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel is necessary. The ability to prioritize tasks and focus on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously is also required. Applicants should have an interest in politics, communications and current events and should have related work experience.

Qualifications and Skills: Undergraduate degree in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism or related field; At least two years of relevant communications and / or marketing experience; Ability to balance multiple, diverse clients and work within tight time frames.
Specific Responsibilities and Duties: Write press releases, pitch the media, and execute PR and communications-related duties.
