We’re looking for an Account Executive to support the execution and day-to-day management of client accounts, contributing to media relations, strategic communications, and account operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring client programs run smoothly by supporting account teams, coordinating media outreach, maintaining accurate reporting, and delivering high-quality communications materials.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
Serve as primary support for assigned client accounts; develop into a stronger team role, eventually serving as a client lead
Gain experience in client relations, strategy development, and execution; develop a general understanding of clients’ internal business, competitors, and industry
Learn marketing and delegation skills through development of interns
Conduct media relations outreach in coordination with clients’ PR goals, targeting national, local, and trade print, broadcast, and online outlets
Develop media relations materials such as pitches, media advisories, and talking points
Secure and coordinate media interviews; successfully facilitate incoming media inquiries
Coordinate and staff media events, proactively managing media relationships
Accurately report publicity results to internal leadership
Maintain contact and build relationships with clients on a day-to-day basis; assist with client management, meeting deadlines, and budget expectations
Write and edit high-quality materials, including media messaging and marketing collateral
Support the development of strategic PR plans to meet clients’ business or marketing goals
Develop and maintain systems for keeping accurate accounts of client deliverables
Be accountable for delivering client work to account leads in an accurate and timely manner
Requirements
Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills, including the ability to produce polished media and client materials
Proven media relations skills, including the ability to consistently secure media results and independently manage media opportunities
Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to effectively communicate concepts to clients and senior team members
Ability to interact professionally with high-level client executives; excellent interpersonal skills and effective reporting in client meetings
Solid account management skills with the ability to lead and take ownership
Ability to work independently and collaboratively; proactively contribute recommendations to enhance results
Detail-oriented, proactive, and enthusiastic; able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines; quick learner
Interest in and regular consumption of local and national media (newspapers, magazines, blogs, podcasts, TV, radio) and social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Canva, and social media platforms
Bachelor’s degree; minimum of 2 years of related professional experience preferred
