Within BlackRock’s US Wealth Advisory, Client Marketing defines the strategy to reach targeted financial advisors through multi-channel campaigns.  We share insights and portfolio guidance on how our products and solutions can serve their end clients.  Our aim is to engage advisors with digital content and drive conversations with our sales organization.

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Associate to join our team to help enhance our website and manage visitors along their digital journey.  This person will work cross functionally with product, digital, and publishing partners to build a user experience that drives engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with web partners to optimize the digital experience to enable visitors to self-service with product information and portfolio tools.
  • Identify target client populations and launch campaigns that take them step by step through the buying journey
  • Map buyer journeys for different client types using both quantitative and qualitative research
  • Project manage ongoing website enhancements, including content development, compliance review and publishing
  • Build, maintain and improve email campaigns, including triggered and nurture programs to deepen client engagement
  • Conduct web analysis and make recommendations on ways to optimize layouts and language to increase conversion rates
  • Create and maintain dashboards to monitor and track performance against KPIs
  • Participate in high-performance team culture that encourages autonomy, creativity, innovation, testing and learning, and quantifiable impact.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Ideal candidates are data-driven marketers with background in B2B or B2C campaign planning and execution.
  • Analytical skills to regularly test & learn, interpret insights & findings from campaign data and metrics
  • Ability to work collaboratively and partner on projects
  • Writing and editing abilities for web, banner, paid search and email copy
  • Interest or affinity with financial services
  • Experience working with marketing automation systems such as Oracle Eloqua, Marketo, MailChimp, web analytics systems such as Adobe Analytics, Content Square, or Google Analytics and workflow tools like Jira
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar
