The Communications Coordinator
The Communications Coordinator works as part of the Corporate Communications team to disseminate company information internally and externally.
Please note: This position is fully in-office and is based in Salt Lake City, UT.
Primary Responsibilities
- Engages across the organization to support key priorities and drive company messaging.
- Collaborates on creation of press releases, media alerts, newsletters, website content, memos, or other communication collateral.
- Pursues media opportunities on behalf of the company.
- Creates content for internal intranet communications, editorial calendars, and strategy.
- Supports communications team administrative work such as website analytics, distribution and media list upkeep, and inbox management.
- Supports the management of the internal company store.
- Aids in additional company projects, including surveys, meetings, and events.
Job Specifications
- Able to practice discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to identify and seek needed information (research skills).
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in PR, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience.
