**Compliance Manager, International Trade Compliance**

The Compliance Manager will support the Director of International Trade Compliance in the management and implementation of the export/import compliance program.

This is a hybrid position with some in‑office presence in McLean, VA.

## Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensures sector‑wide compliance with all U.S. export/import laws and regulations, including the ITAR, EAR, Customs, Foreign Trade Regulations, and other applicable federal government regulations.
2. Draft matters of interest and investigate non‑compliance matters.
3. Prepare and draft voluntary disclosures as needed.
4. Identify root cause analysis and track completion of corrective actions.
5. Provide guidance regarding a wide variety of trade compliance matters, including licensing, agreements, exemptions, exceptions, classification/jurisdiction, and regulatory requirements.
6. Draft, review, and update internal trade compliance policies and procedures.
7. Collaborate with other sectors to identify and establish best practices.
8. Participate in preparing export‑related training materials and conduct and oversee export training for all relevant employees.
9. Prepare technical assistance agreements and help oversee the authorization management program.
10. Conduct, participate in, and prepare for export compliance audits on a periodic basis.

## Required Education, Experience, & Skills

– 10+ years with a Bachelor’s Degree.
– Applicants must have strong leadership and communication skills and be well organized.

## Preferred Education, ITAR Experience, and Authorization Management Skills

– Experience with OCR’s EASE global trade management software.

## Pay Information

**Full‑Time Salary Range:** $134,640 – $228,888

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
