## Position Summary
This position will support the Communications team on projects that advance annual goals and objectives to shape culture, drive employee engagement, and build alignment for the company strategy. Responsibilities include internal and external communications, digital and traditional media, website maintenance, employee message distribution, event support, and a range of administrative tasks.

## General Job Accountabilities
– Support a high volume of communication initiatives, meeting tight deadlines, multitasking under pressure, and maintaining strong attention to detail.
– Provide coordination and administrative support for key Corporate Communications initiatives led by the Senior Director, Corporate Communications.
– Track key projects, deliverables, communications plans, and executive communications priorities.
– Proactively follow up on all tasks for which the function is responsible.
– Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
– Complete ad hoc duties as needed.
– Interact with other departments to understand key components of the company’s business.

## Communications
– Support preparation, drafting, editing, and distribution of communications including company emails/announcements, press releases, intranet (InsideAtlas) posts, articles, and more. Ensure distribution through appropriate channels to intended audiences.
– Provide proactive and consistent support for InsideAtlas, powered by Workvivo, ensuring the platform serves as a vibrant channel for employee communications, engagement, and experience. Responsibilities include auditing and cleanup of existing materials and establishing new processes.
– Draft/edit messaging, prepare presentations, and coordinate logistics for Town Hall meetings, including support for executive presenters and leadership communications.
– Support execution of employee surveys and use data analytics to present findings.
– Manage a robust internal communications calendar, including message development, approval tracking, and distribution to appropriate audiences. Work closely with HR and IT to optimize the active directory for accurate audience mapping.
– Support preparation of executive communications materials, presentations, and briefing documents for senior leadership.
– Support maintenance of the company website to ensure functionality and up‑to‑date information, including prompt posting of press releases. Take a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
– Support content development and distribution for the company’s external blog (Tailwinds).
– Leverage AI‑enabled tools, where appropriate, to support content development, editing, research, summarization, and communications planning while ensuring accuracy, brand alignment, and adherence to company policies.

## Corporate Meetings and Events
– Assist with planning, logistics, and coordination of deliverables for internal and external meetings such as the annual Leadership Meeting, Town Halls, and others as needed.
– Coordinate logistics with other departments including IT, Facilities, and more.
– Support vendor communication and follow‑up.

## Social Media
– In partnership with the Marketing team and social media agency, prepare posts for Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms featuring external‑facing company news and announcements.

## Marketing
– Assist with meeting all deadlines outlined in the yearly Marketing/Communications Plan.
– Support maintenance of the digital photo library in the Brand Center on InsideAtlas and fulfill requests for images, logos, and related assets.

## Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, or related areas.
– 2+ years in a professional corporate environment, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, or related fields.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills.
– Strong project management skills.
– Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, especially in spelling and grammar.
– Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Word and PowerPoint). Experience with Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator, WordPress, Workvivo or similar employee communications platforms, and communication/social media tools is desired.
– Impeccable ethics, confidentiality, independent thinking, and professionalism when working with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
– Highly motivated with the ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple deliverables.
– Requires minimal supervision; strong independent thinker who works well with others.
– Works well under pressure and can professionally handle confidential issues within tight timeframes.
– Experience supervising vendors such as graphic design firms, printers, and audio/visual companies.
– Professional and positive attitude with internal and external clients.

## Compensation & Benefits
Competitive compensation will be offered based on factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other considerations. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, an employee assistance program, generous paid time off, and 401(k) contributions.
**Pay Range:**
$53,500 – $72,000 USD
