They use technical know‑how, excellent problem‑solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads.

The Trust and Safety’s Creator Experience team works to help creators succeed on YouTube by providing a consistent and clear policy experience, protecting ad business, enforcing guidelines on brand‑unsafe content, and aligning with industry standards. The team improves practical elements of creator experiences such as making video appeals easier, providing more detailed explanations for demonetization, speeding up turnaround times, and ensuring policy launches are seamless and easy to understand.
This team focuses on making the experience of being a creator better by ensuring that business‑generation policy is easy to understand, adaptable, and reflective of the ever‑changing creator ecosystem. They work to make advertiser‑friendly content guidelines a set of rules creators can live with—and live by.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
**US: $136,000 – $197,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits**

## Responsibilities
– Implement policy principles into actionable enforcement guidelines for the video‑rater pool.
– Review controversial and sometimes offensive video content to determine whether or not it is brand‑safe.
– Manage escalations with fast turnaround times to define and deliver the best action plan.
– Research and stay up to date on key trends and suspicious patterns in your policy area.
– Increase efficiency through automation, workflow streamlining, and system optimization.
