Digital Communications Associate
The National WIC Association (NWA), located in Washington, DC, seeks a full-time Digital Communications Associate to join its diverse team of fourteen dedicated professionals.
The Association is a high-impact non-profit, member organization that represents more than 2,000 service provider agencies that offer quality nutrition education, breastfeeding support, health care and other social referral services to at-risk women and young children in over 10,000 WIC clinics nationwide.
The incumbent will be responsible for supporting NWA marketing, recruitment, and advertising strategies for the Association. These include NWA’s National Recruitment and Retention Campaign, the WIC Hub, and NWA’s website. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating all strategies and activities with NWA’s Communications Team.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field and a minimum of two-years of relevant work experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience managing social media and websites is important. Excellent customer service and commitment to organizational equity, diversity and inclusion is required.
