The Crown Is Yours
We’re looking for a Director of Responsible Gaming to support our robust Responsible Gaming program. This highly visible role will report directly to the Chief Responsible Gaming Officer. As a leader on the Responsible Gaming team, you will work closely with the Government Affairs team, as well as the Communications & Legal teams on priority Responsible Gaming issues. You will work hand-in-hand with our cross-functional Responsible Gaming FAST Team to help execute strategies on both reactive and forward-looking policies.
What You’ll Do as a Director of Responsible Gaming
- Represent the DraftKings brand externally, including with state officials, attorneys general, associations, and other external stakeholders.
- Cultivate a robust understanding of the DraftKings Responsible Gaming Program, products, and business; understand the company’s business imperatives.
- Work with key stakeholders to plan, develop, and implement Responsible Gaming-specific campaigns that will help elevate our Responsible Gaming efforts.
- Provide proactive advice and counseling to business colleagues and other key stakeholders to raise awareness around DraftKings’ Responsible Gaming Program and mitigate enforcement risk.
- Monitor critical developments around consumer protection within our industry and provide relevant and timely insight.
- Stay current with the external environment and use that knowledge to inform DraftKings’ Responsible Gaming Team.
What You’ll Bring
- Juris Doctorate preferred.
- Experience with Consumer Protection law in Technology, Gaming, or other regulated consumer markets throughout the United States.
- Strong ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally across multiple stakeholders to accomplish goals.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including polish, poise, and executive presence to ensure effective interaction across varying levels.
- Strong ability to manage tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel.
Join Our Team
We’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. As a regulated gaming company, you may be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000.00 – $165,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
