  • A Vice President, Director, or an Associate will drive transformational education policy outcomes in a portfolio of states.
  • The yes. every kid. team is remote with an optional in-person office in Arlington, VA.

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Manage contract lobbyists and align them to our Vision for public policy advocacy strategies to pass state legislation aligned with Vision.
  • Develop and maintain strategic state-based relationships with coalition partners and legislators to advance our Vision.
  • Lead specialized projects on an ad hoc basis.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that can create and add strategy/value.

Knowledge And Skills You Bring To The Organization

  • You have demonstrated experience cultivating relationships with high-profile individuals.
  • You have lobbied at the state government level.
  • You have experience connecting individuals and groups to shared Vision and goals and have demonstrated experience building consensus to execute a goal.
  • You can travel up to 50% of the time, depending on the need.
  • You’re able to work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, remote environment.
  • You’re able to capture input and support from multiple stakeholders and communities to help remove barriers for students.
  • You’re committed to and excited by the Vision of yes. every kid.
