Education

A university degree (e.g. Journalism, Media, Communications) or equivalent experience.

Experience

At least 10 years of experience in a corporate communications/public relations environment, with 5 years as a communications specialist.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves working in the DC Metro area and includes frequent travel to New York. The successful candidate would be based out of one of our Virginia offices.

  • Provide corporate communications consultancy, propose, plan, coordinate, and implement communication strategies, aligned with corporate communications strategy and policies.
  • Stay informed of business evolution, trends, and technology in the market.
  • Lead the company’s media relations and corporate communications activities.
  • Produce, launch, and ensure effective use of communication tools and materials, such as publications, articles, press releases, and media briefings.
  • Liaise internally with key business partners and manage PR agency relations.
  • Lead the design and development of strategic corporate communication projects and action plans.
  • Initiate, develop, plan, coordinate, and follow up on corporate communication projects.
  • Monitor progress of written texts and ensure high-quality deliverables to internal customers, ensuring all communication is implemented consistently.
  • Lead a global team of Corporate Communications Specialists.

The estimated salary range for this position in Virginia is $135,200 to $202,800 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employees, contingent on personal and company performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance with no premium costs for employees and their families, as well as a retirement plan with matching 401k contributions.
