The Law Clerk II position is a great opportunity for an attorney to gain practical, hands-on experience applying your knowledge to assist with high-profile cases being investigated and litigated by the Department of Justice. This opportunity with the Office of International Affairs will enhance your knowledge and understanding of criminal investigations and prosecutions worldwide, working with domestic partners and foreign counterparts to facilitate the cooperation necessary to enforce the law, advance public safety, and achieve justice.

## More About the Role

As a Law Clerk II, you will work as part of a high-performing team where you will hone your analytical and research skills by engaging in intensive document reviews to identify relevant documents and conduct legal and factual research to build cases. In addition, you will:

– Perform complex legal research
– Assist in preparing draft legal documents such as motions, briefs, and memoranda of law
– Review documents for relevance and privilege
– Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation

## You’ll Bring These Qualifications

– Law degree
– At least two to three years of progressively responsible experience on litigation support projects, including proven capabilities and communication skills to interact with clients and attorneys
– Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources
– Excellent written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw
– Hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, and imaging
– Hands-on familiarity with eDiscovery applications and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources

– Prior experience supporting the Federal Government

## Pay Range

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.

### Minimum Required Hourly Wage
$46.90
