Staff Position Details

The staff position is full time and for an exempt employee.

Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

About Eno’s Policy Programs

Eno provides government and industry leaders with expert research, timely analysis, and actionable recommendations. Our work centers on understanding challenges facing multimodal and national networks, with a focus on federal, state, and local levels.

Policy Analyst Role

Responsibilities:

  • Research and Writing (75%):
    • Contribute to Eno research products.
    • Manage research projects internally.
    • Work with various databases and analyze data.
    • Contribute to Eno Transportation Weekly.
    • Assist with development of education materials.
    • Assist with collateral material development and media relations.
  • External Engagement and Communications (10%):
    • Present research and policy findings.
    • Participate in planning meetings and listening sessions.
    • Help plan and moderate Eno policy webinars.
  • Network Building and Interaction (10%):
    • Stay updated on policy developments.
    • Maintain relationships with peer staff and organizations.
    • Foster Eno’s relationships with transportation stakeholders.
  • Professional Growth and Career Development (5%):
    • Participate in training and development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 1 to 5 years of professional work experience preferred.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated research experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Collegial attitude and high initiative.
  • Clear interest and enthusiasm in transportation.
  • Proficient understanding of transportation and public policy.
