Description
NMI is looking for an enthusiastic PR and Social Media Manager to assist in the development and execution of integrated PR and social media initiatives that raise the company’s brand awareness and drive engagement. You will reinforce the credibility, visibility, and awareness of the NMI brand and its solutions, demonstrating that we are a key player, industry leader, and thought leader in the fintech/paytech market.
The PR and Social Media Manager plays an integral role within the marketing team and will deliver successful media campaigns across traditional, digital, and social media channels that tightly integrate with our marketing campaigns, capitalize on our corporate and campaign messaging, and support the organization’s business strategy and marketing goals.
Responsibilities and duties include:
Leading Media Relations and Social Media Activities
- Day-to-day management of PR agencies
- Plan, develop, and implement PR and social media campaigns aligning with marketing and HR goals
- Identify opportunities for proactive PR and social activities, including support for topical news stories
- Develop compelling social media content across all platforms to drive engagement
- Manage submission of speaker proposals, product reviews, and awards
- Build an employee social media advocacy strategy
- Maintain and update the press section of the company website
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate NMI brand, PR, and social media results
Industry Trends and Best Practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends affecting the business and customers
- Stay current with the latest social media best practices and trends
Collaboration and Consistency
- Collaborate with the content manager, wider marketing team, HR team, and third-party agencies
- Ensure brand consistency and tone of voice across all press activities and social media platforms
Requirements
- Marketing or related business degree or equivalent (communications, media, journalism, business/management, social sciences, politics)
- 2-3 years of experience in PR and social media in a similar role or at an agency
- Solid experience in planning and developing press and social media campaigns
- Excellent knowledge of B2B social media strategies for LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok
- Experience managing social channels, including the use of tools like Sprout Social
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Creativity, imagination, and initiative
- Ability to develop engaging content
- Drive, competence, flexibility, and a willingness to learn
- Business awareness and good knowledge of current affairs
