Public Relations Specialist at Red Carrot
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: **
Crafts and executes tailored pitches to engage potential partners.
Ensures that propositions resonate with the target priorities.
Develops and maintains a positive public image for the client’s organization through public-facing communication.
Establishes and maintains positive relationships with potential partners as well as within the organization, fostering genuine connections based on common interests and maintaining outreach for positive outcomes.
Develops and/or executes content strategies to release information on the organization in a manner that will promote a positive public image.
Performs other duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS: **
**Must Haves: **
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or 5 years of working in Public Relations.
- Extensive knowledge of public relations principles and strategies.
- Excellent written communication skills with a proven ability in a journalistic style that is customary for external publications.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with media contacts and outlets.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
**Nice to Haves: **
- Experience working with public sector clients.
- Experience interacting with key stakeholders in complex organizations.
- Familiarity with Government financial literacy.
