Alliance Marketing Partners, LLC (AMP) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our team. As a full-service marketing and public relations agency, AMP offers a wide range of services including brand marketing, public relations, social media, design, sports marketing, activation, event management, and product sampling. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients and providing strategic PR solutions that generate buzz and drive business growth.

As a Public Relations Specialist at AMP, you will play a key role in developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their goals and objectives, and leverage your expertise to craft compelling PR plans and initiatives. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong media relations skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex messages to various stakeholders. We are seeking a Public Relations Specialist who is passionate about storytelling, has a proven track record of securing media coverage, and is committed to delivering outstanding results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic PR plans and campaigns for clients
  • Create and distribute engaging press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts and influencers
  • Pitch stories and secure media coverage across print, broadcast, and online channels
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and prepare reports for clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and social media, to ensure PR and marketing efforts are aligned
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging PR strategies
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on public relations matters

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in public relations, preferably in an agency setting
  • Proven track record of securing media coverage across various channels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities
  • Ability to think strategically and develop impactful PR plans
  • Strong understanding of media landscape and trends
  • Proficiency in media monitoring tools and PR software
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

The role is onsite our Baltimore or DC area office. Not remote.
