## Overview
DGA is looking for an experienced public affairs practitioner to become our next Senior Director serving the needs of our thriving portfolio of technology companies. Based in Brussels, the Senior Director will help clients navigate political and policy challenges, lead a significant portfolio of client matters and relationships, and oversee large, complex components of strategy and delivery.
We are looking for a senior expert to drive meaningful contributions to client outcomes and play a key role in business development and organizational leadership. Senior Directors mentor talent, shape team and firm culture, and advance firm objectives through strategic insight and operational excellence. ## Location

## Responsibilities
– Lead a portfolio of high‑value client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and measurable strategic impact.
– Oversee large, complex client strategy and engagement components; drive alignment across workstreams.
– Advise clients on high‑stakes, sensitive decisions across political, regulatory, reputational, and commercial issues.
– Manage and develop team members; identify growth opportunities and provide coaching and structured feedback.
– Lead engagements with limited supervision, including multijurisdictional or cross‑functional initiatives.
– Identify, lead, and support new business initiatives and growth opportunities.
– Build and maintain long‑term client relationships; contribute to revenue growth and account expansion.
– Contribute to the evolution of DGA’s methodologies, tools, and strategies.
– Support firmwide initiatives and culture‑building priorities.

## Qualifications
– 10+ years’ relevant experience in EU public affairs roles (consultancy, trade association, or in‑house), with a strong track record in tech policy and in particular policy impacting content moderation and internet platforms.
– Proven ability to translate technical inputs into political strategy, bridging technical work and EU decision‑making.
– Strong working knowledge of the EU legal framework as it relates to internet platforms.
– Strong project management skills, with the ability to own end‑to‑end delivery of client workstreams and consistently meet deadlines and quality expectations.
– Native‑level written and spoken English, with the ability to synthesise complex topics into concise, high‑impact summaries.
– Established professional network within relevant EU institutions and industry trade associations.
– University degree.
– Resilient, solution‑oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
– Ability to manage junior profiles and act as a mentor.
